Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Our laptop died. When we retrieve the files, we will post some really fun stuff over the last month or so.

Sye had so much fun on his first real Trick or Treat around our neighborhood. He wore his skeleton costume, which he picked out. He thought he was supposed to scare everyone so he would walk up and raise his hands and roar. Then would say, "Trick or Treat". He got into the candy about half way through. Then we came home and handed out candy. The first kids walked up to the door, he scared them, gave them candy and then said, "Now go home everybody"! It was lots of fun and for once, he did not protest bedtime.

Grant had his first taste of rice cereal. Let's just say that he was not a fan. We were so sure our big boy was ready for some food, but I guess we'll wait a while longer until he comes around.

September Grant

September has been a busy month for Grant. He's growing so fast. He had his 4-month checkup with Dr. Ezeoke and he weighed 16 lbs 10 oz and was 25 and 1/2 inches long. Big boy! He can now roll over and sits up very well with help. He enjoys the exersaucer and can grab at toys and most of all, really loves watching his big brother play! He is a very easy-going baby, sleeps great, and loves to be in anyone's lap.

Sye started school mid-August and thankfully, he loves it! Daddy drives him to school in the morning and when Mommy picks him up, he really doesn't want to leave. He's making friends and already learning lots of new things. We are very proud of our little guy!

Grant's First Trip to the Beach

We just got back from a week-long beach trip with all of the Joneses. Grant headed to the beach first thing. He also had his first swim at the pool, which he really seemed to like. He spent most days hanging out with Papa inside where it was cool and evenings with the whole family, strolling around and riding the carousel with Gigi. He was completely spoiled by the whole family all week!

Grant had his 2-month visit with Dr. E today. He was 23 3/4 in. long and weighed 13 lbs and 1 oz. He was very brave for his first immunizations and only cried a little.
